Chris & Ella’s Engagement Shoot
Some places just hold your heart forever. For Ella, it’s this exact spot — her favourite rock on her parents’ farm, with a view that stretches across the Waikato hills she’s loved for forever. It made perfect sense for her and Chris to choose this peaceful corner of home for their engagement shoot, and I’m so glad they did.
The golden light, the sweeping views, and the quiet beauty of the land made the perfect setting for a session that was personal and deeply meaningful. Plus the wind was a paid actor on the day! Watching these two share this moment was pure magic. They were completely in their element, soaking up the serenity of the landscape and each other’s company which I loved to witness.
Their wedding is coming up later this year, and if this shoot is anything to go by, it’s going to be filled with heart, joy, and all the things that truly matter.
