What a privilege to have been the photographer of Lucas and Nicole’s wedding at the beautiful Tairoa Lodge, Hawera, NZ.
It’s always a special moment when two people find love after experiencing life’s ups and downs, and that's exactly what happened with this beautiful couple. And when they finally found each other, all stars aligned. Their journey led them to become a blended family - now they are one happy united family, and their joy and love is truly contagious.
No wedding is without a challenge here and there (some couples can not only write chapters but books) but what matters most is that everything came together beautifully. The love between this couple is tangible and it’s a reminder of how inspiring love can truly be.
The wedding took place at the stunning Tairoa Lodge, and the day was made even more special by the incredible vendors from Taranaki. It was a day filled with laughter, tears, and unforgettable moments. And oh, the surprises just kept coming—so many that it’s hard to list them all! From the emotional first look to a grandmother stepping in as one of the flower girls, to a second "first look" when the bride switched dresses (Lucas’s reaction when he sees her in the new dress is priceless!), every moment was full of unexpected joy. There were even surprise witnesses who signed the register, and let's not forget the stunning shot during the vows! That one is a personal favourite, since Jagermeister and Red Bull together make a Jagerbomb—just like these two are a total bomb together! 😉 Special mention to the incredible Amelia Lett who took on this day like the pro that she is!
