Dixon Family Shoot
When a family asks me to take their family photos at their home I get super excited for a few reasons. Children are usually more comfortable in their own surroundings as opposed to a public place and their personalities come to life in front of the camera. I will also start the shoot by playing with the kids without shooting at all and most often actually put my camera down until they are comfortable with me. Then I’ll ask them to show my their favourite toys and so forth building trust. After that we get to just have fun! And man did I have fun with the Dixon Family in at their beautiful Oakura family home! They are all blessed with the most beautiful eyes and you can feel the love between this close knit family.
